The Concept Lesson Plan:
Students will be using the SmartBoard to write and group different ideas, this easily allows students to move and group words. Also, during individual practice the students are conducting a simple research on an author and a text of their choice. For their research the students will also include a works cited page. They will use Purdue Owl as their guidance, and the link will be provided to them. https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/section/2/11/
Vocabulary Acquisition Lesson:
Students will be using online resources to come up with pictures that go hand in hand with vocabulary words. The students will also be making a game to help teach other vocabulary words, this requires more online research. I also included two websites to help students with prefixes and suffixes.

Also in the vocabulary acquisition lesson, for differentiation I have suggested students use www.quizlet.com to create flash cards for words giving them difficulty in addition to the other assignments required of them.
